Welcome to Prep and Go (the "App"), operated by Stéphane Daigle ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (which is stored in a hashed format) to create and manage your account. This is managed through our authentication provider, AWS Cognito.
- User-Generated Content: We collect any data, text, or other information you enter, upload, or store within the App's user interface. This could include product photos and text descriptions.
- Usage data and timestamps - to improve app functionality and analytics.

#### B. Information Collected Automatically

We may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage of the App, such as:

- Device Information: We may collect device information such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and operating system version.
- Usage Data: We may collect information about how you use the App, such as the features you use, the pages you visit, and the time and date of your visits.

#### C. Advertising and Third-Party Data Collection

### 2. How We Use Your Information
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the App.
- Protect the security and integrity of our App and backend systems.
- Display relevant advertisements through Google AdMob services.

Your information is stored and processed using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Specifically:

- **User Authentication**: Your account credentials and management are handled by **AWS Cognito**.
- **Data Storage**: 
    - The text data you enter and generate within the App is stored in a **AWS DynamoDB** database.
    - The images you upload are stored in **AWS S3**.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We also use **Google AdMob** to display advertisements within the App. Google AdMob may collect and process information about your device and usage patterns to provide relevant advertisements. ### 4. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:

- **Third-Party Service Providers**: As mentioned, we share your information with AWS, our backend service provider, for the purposes of storing your data and managing your account.

- **Business Transfers**: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

### 5. Security of Your Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. We rely on the security standards of our provider, AWS, which includes measures like data encryption in transit (using TLS/SSL) and at rest. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

### 6. Your Rights and Choices
#### A. Access, Update, or Correct Your Information

You can review and change your personal information at any time by logging into the App and visiting your account settings page.

#### B. Account Deletion

You may request to delete your account and associated data at any time. You can do this by using the 'Delete Account' feature in the user's profile page.

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use, and/or comply with legal requirements.

### 7. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible.

### 8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
